Ensure Video Always-On for Mission Critical Surveillance

V-ON: Video Always-On Networking

To achieve video always-on transmission for mission critical surveillance, V-ON technology combines Moxa’s Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundant ring topologies with optimized video transmission to implement millisecond-level network recovery upon media and node failure.

L2/L3 Multicast Streaming Recovery
Based on Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain enabled ring networks, V-ON technology overcomes IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol) and VRRP (Virtual Routing Redundancy Protocol) limitations to enable layer 2 video network recovery within 50 ms, and layer 3 video routing recovery within 300 ms of video network failure.
  • L2 video steaming recovery <50 ms(*) for unicast and multicast scenarios
  • L3 video steaming recovery <300 ms(*) for unicast and multicast routing scenarios
  • Millisecond-level router redundancy
  • Failure modes supported: power down/up, path link down/up
(*Available for 1G/10G Fiber links)
